Exciting News!

In the fall of 2019, I published my first article where I shared my experience as an IVF patient.  I was nervous to send my story out into the world.  While I was open about our decision to use donor egg to conceive our son, talking about it with friends and family was different than putting it on the internet.  It was a remarkably vulnerable piece that I wisely trusted with a close friend and her online magazine.

I am immensely proud of that piece and how it boosted my confidence to write more and share more.  Additionally, it helped increase the reach of my story and inspired other woman to contact me to share their own journey, ask questions and in some cases pursue donor egg themselves when they otherwise thought they might be out of options.  Offering my support or just an ear to listen has been incredibly rewarding and left me wanting to continue helping woman and families struggling with infertility.

I’m excited to share that I have found two very exciting ways to do just that.

First, I am thrilled to announce that I will be a collaborating author on a book documenting infertility success.  The book will be a collection of stories from women across the country who struggled with infertility before becoming parents.  We hope it will serve as inspiration for anyone struggling to start or complete their family.  You can look for updates on my social media pages as we prepare for publishing as well as instructions on how to pre-order the book.  I know when I first began my journey of infertility treatments, I would have loved to read a collection of success stories to build my hope.  I am certain it will do just that for other families.

In addition, I’m proud to share that I am currently partnering with Creative Conception Inc, a boutique egg donation and surrogacy agency.  The team at Creative Conception is made up of individuals who have personal experience with third party reproduction and are all passionate about helping other create their families.  My role with Creative Conception is to talk with couples considering egg donation or surrogacy and women considering becoming an egg donor or surrogate.  I can’t wait to continue sharing my story and help others find their own path to parenthood.

If you are considering egg donation or want to learn more about becoming an egg donor or surrogate, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for an exploratory conversation.

It is so special to me that my journey to become a mother has given me so much more than my beautiful children. My work will be featured in an actual book with actual pages that will be sold in actual bookstores! It’s sincerely a dream come true. Helping families through the overwhelming and intimidating process of IVF treatment is incredibly rewarding and I am exploring more ways to make a difference in their lives. If my experience has taught me anything it is that anything is possible so I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.
